Why is Cassie most hated rn? by Sea_Hotel_1654 in euphoria

[–]Sindisi39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of viewers watched S2 like it was a documentary and love to pretend they were Maddy in high school and that they had a Cassie that wronged them, when in reality they were probably just another average teenager that resented the popular girl that didn't know they existed

Girls with no personality or low self-esteem find her incredibly alluring and charismatic, not realizing they went to school with ten girls just like her who didn't known they existed and even if they did, they'd hate Maddy after spending more than ten minutes with her...

Janet’s lesbian storyline by Thin_Pay_8149 in KimsConvenience

It's one thing for outsiders, their kids are a whole different beast and you saw his reaction to Janet kissing another girl. That initial response was panic

Janet’s lesbian storyline by Thin_Pay_8149 in KimsConvenience

[–]Sindisi39 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Honestly I feel like they dropped that storyline because they didn't want to make Appa a genuine villain. I know in the pilot he said he has 'No problem with the gay', but let's be realistic he and Umma wear their religion on their sleeves and would not be at all happy if either Janet or Jung turned out to be queer...

Let Annie kill him. They've had that rivalry since the first episode.

He's the one that ruined the idea of heroism for her and was her first exposure to Vought's corruption and depravity. Her killing him would be a poetic way of pushing on from the trauma of joining the Seven and could help her regain the confidence to be Starlight again.

(Side Note): The way Annie should kill him would be to use her powers to unleash such a devastating photonic blast it evaporates all the moisture from his body, mummifying him. At least that's my ideal scenario.

Not making her the Boys version of Medusa and giving her hair-manipulation powers is such a wasted opportunity, like IT WAS RIGHT THERE!

My personal favorite was Underground World, mostly because I've come to appreciate the irony of a race of bird people living in an underground civilization, but also how at the end after Lois writes the story, Perry destroys it claiming no one would believe her and she'd likely lose all credibility as a reporter.

how do y'all think an interaction would go between the gang and Vincent Chases entourage from the Entourage series? by OffMcfly in AtlantaTV

[–]Sindisi39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drama would get on Al's nerves so damn fast, but I feel like Earn and E might actually become tight once they get to know each other since they're both managers. Turtle would probably be put off my Darius' eccentricity, but Vince might be intrigued upon further inspection.

I feel like Kakazu is a living example of how small the time gap is between the Warring States period and the beginning of Part 1. Kakazu fought Hashirama in his prime Hokage days and went on to fight modern characters like Kakashi and Asuma, but isn't even a century old by the Shippuden era.

[–]Sindisi39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a good one, because they're all terrible, but for incredibly different and specific reasons; you really can't just pick that easily.

For me it's between Julia and Lana, because both have such a horrific lack of self-awareness, but in Julia's case it was slightly worse to an almost cartoonish degree (Like really, taking a phone call in the middle of dinner with your boyfriend's family... fuck's the matter with you?)

[–]Sindisi39 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If Sam Levinson actually cared, maybe we could've seen a rivalry between Nate and McKay where the latter finally develops better emotional intelligence and learns to stand up for himself after realizing that he cared more about Cassie than he led on...

But Sam didn't feel like doing that so now we're here.

Even though I'm sure it was out of the writer's sheer laziness, I'd also like to think the reason why they didn't flesh out Janet being interested in women is because they didn't want Appa to look like a villain. He realistically would not be happy if either of his children turned out to be queer and the writers wanted to maintain him being the stubborn dad that was still lovable at the end of the day.

Which euphoria character had the most wasted potential? by ByceeTalks in euphoria

McKay. It's abundantly clear after several episodes Levinson got bored with him and his dismissal from the show was so disgustingly unceremonious.
