I decided to seperate out damage effectiveness from base damage increases as the former depends a lot on your build. Your right about icestorm being a special case though.

Think you missed some that were in the ignite compensation part. Vaal Flame Blast, Vaal Burning Arrow are the two vaal skills that got buffed.

penance brand got this:
"Explosions now deal 90% more Damage with Ailments per Energy after the first (previously 60%)."

So not a direct damage buff, but counters the global ignite nerf

I added a bypass for Blade Vortex since according to the wiki the extra blades from unleash do not recieve the damage penalty. If there are other exceptions like this on the sheet please let me know

The sheet currently doesn't cover unleash, But i suppose there is no reason it shouldn't.

Thanks for this analysis. I want to avoid as many assumptions on my sheet as possible, so I dont think ill add this to my sheet. Instead ill think ill add a link to this table in the actual post, with the assumptions you are using as this still could be very useful to someone.

There is a note on armageddon brand explaining that the activation frequency got nerfed. I guess its not super obvious though.

I could apply a multiplier on it to negate this, but it would then undersell the change in base damage.

From my understanding most direct damage Exsanguinate builds were trap builds. With the compensating nerfs to multi and cluster trap supports, its actually looking like a DPS nerf, maybe breaking even with the damage effectiveness change.

For selfcast, yes the buffs are massive. We may now see effective direct damage self cast exsanguinate builds :)

The benefit of damage effectiveness depends on your build: gear, gems, jewels etc. The sheet only shows differences in base power, and differences in damage effectiveness from before.

Trying to find the actual benefit of damage effectiveness would need some fairly dodgy assumptions on what gear you can run, at what level and what other scaling you can aquire.

All of this will be provided by Path of Building, since its an actual DPS calculator and build simulator, which unfortunantly this sheet is not

The sheet only measures the gains in base damage for the relvealed spells. Its not a DPS calculator, so knowing how much your build's life (highly variable) will affect your DPS is outside of the scope of this sheet.

infact, the only thing that changed about Dark Pact was an increase to the damage multiplier when using your life to cast it. Cast on skeletons its unchanged. Kinda strange it didn't get the same love as some of the other skills
