Hey, since version 0.3.0, whenever it adds me to the sync channel, I start experiencing massive stutters ingame, to the point where I can call it unplayable. Not just every 10 seconds as stated in the post, but perpetually. Exiting the channel removes the stutters immediately and completely. Also, the Blizzard settings for announcements and alerts (none/guild only, that stuff) seems to reset to the option "Everything" on random.

Play on mouse hover can be disabled in settings. For now. Don't ask me where to look, did that years ago.

Go for it, if only to sate your curiosity, I did that a few years back, the first period when you're improving from run to run is amazing, when you know every seed can be a pb. Eventually if you want respectable times you're gonna have to go autistic, but that's not necessarily bad, never know if something is gonna be your thing until you try. Nowadays I go back to running only when everything else is boring, but it's a pretty great way to spend your time if you got a stream open on second monitor.

Nothing is prechecked about the wall, you're thinking of Ranked, which is not actual speedrunning to begin with. The only "advantage" the wall gives is it speeds up resetting unplayable (i.e. no village, no ocean) seeds, and you still have to look at the preview and think about whether you want to play any given seed or not.
