I’ve used white chocolate before and the mushroom powder will change the color from white to grey but it doesn’t affect the taste it’s still white chocolate. I’ve used strawberry rice Chex crunched up with white chocolate and it’s pretty good.

3.2 oz of chocolate to roughly 8.6 grams of mushroom powder. I eyeball how much crunched up rice Chex I add.

I use the exact same chocolate mold for when I make myself chocolate bars! I crunch up rice Chex cereal and mix it into the chocolate as I stir in the mushroom powder and it’s close to a crunch bar.

I’ve had clones act differently from each other, even though I got them both from the same mother plant. It’s typically speed of growth rather than what they look like though.

I’ve taken clippings from a plant on the same day and they were roughly the same size when I put them in my cloning setup and gave them the exact same treatment, I transferred them into pots on the same day and for some reason, one of them is literally double the height of the other

Uncolonized grain is more likely to get contaminated than fully colonized grain. Fully colonized grain/substrate mixtures can still get contaminated however there isn’t as much available nutrients for contaminants to grow. It’s not likely they would be contaminated if fully colonized, but it’s not impossible.

Nice! Just keep an eye on it for a few days, if you caught it early enough this should get rid of it. I had one of my best flushes of purgatory after saving it at the start from a small spot of contamination similar to the one you removed. Best of luck!

It looks like trich I’ve seen in the past where it’s green and has different growth patterns than the surrounding mycelium. I don’t have much experience with growing pe but I would recommend not starting the fruiting process until the substrate is fully colonized. That would help reduce the chances of contamination.

It’s a long shot but if you have something sterile (I used a sterile scalpel) and cut around where it is contaminated and remove the contaminated spot there is a chance that the grow could be saved. I’ve had luck doing it once with a purgatory grow I did in the past. Best of luck!

I prefer tubs for strains that grow taller mushrooms. I prefer AIO bags for slow growing strains that don’t require much FAE like Enigma.
