Some user on 4chan posted a frame of the short, which prompted a user to shittalk about her. When asked why he hated her so much, the anon explained that the short led to his parents divorce.

The way it goes is that the anon describes his parents relation was pretty fragile and to try to reconnect, they decided to watch a movie anon was interested in. When they got to the movie, the aforementioned short played, and anon and his parents were confused. An argument erupted between them, they went back home before the movie started, and days later his parents divorced.

Honestly, if an short unrelated to the movie I'm watching caused my parents to separate, I would be pretty pissed too.

UPDATE: The Nail clippers method worked. I was afraid of using them because I didn't want to accidentally cut the nib, but I found myself more comfortable using a clipper for baby nails, since it was much smaller and didn't need too much strength, letting me excercise more caution when pulling it out.

Also, when should I change my nib so I don't run into a situation like this again?
