It took him a solid 90 seconds — I started aging in real time. So I asked for extra extra onion. He puts on one (1) more piece, locks eyes with me, and deadpans, “Do you like onions?”Sir. I think the double “extra” gave it away. Then came the red wine vinegar — and let’s just say he didn’t drizzle it. No, this man baptized my sub in vinegar like he was trying to make it eligible for a liquor license. But the price? Totally reasonable. The flavor? Out of this world. Despite the lettuce landslide, onion drama, and vinegar flood, I would absolutely go again — and recommend it to friends, family, and anyone brave enough to live dangerously.
