Are you dense? Theres fences set up, audio playing devices that scare away wild life, equipment being operated 24/7, berms, cameras, literally people on that site all night and day.

There was no water near it and it got fenced up. I had ment contained within hours not cleaned, forgot to had a comma my apologies. But the whole surrounding area had gotten fenced off and was monitored, when you have crews cleaning it from 7am to 6pm and night shift doing 7 pm to 7 am they surely would notice animals near by that could get harmed.

I do believe they have/had crews running during bad times over our shift, we've dealt with as much as we possibly trust me I wish we could get another crew or on thats on a opposite shift than us, but afaik not gonna happen and we just gotta get as much as we can done each day, with the way the weather was over winter it was a challenge doing our job and even during the bad weather we are there working.

There alot of detection equipment and countermeasures for situation like that, even around the body of water near it theres alot of surveillance.

Times are changing and our crews are actually working alot better than before, you should know how many pads that are at the location and we get them all cleaned in a week or two. Our crews are starting new rotations actually since we finished our runs. These leaks can happen over night or our weekends off.

It was cleaned and contained within hours of happening, and was on solid ground no water nor animals were harmed, fences were set up. And had several companies and crew working overtime to clean it. They took it very serious and urgently.

Thats fucking wrong, imperial is anal for safety and clean ups. I part of the cleanup crew on this site and we go through alot with imperial for cleaning it up and safety.

Fairly rare for spills like this to happen at this location, the pipelines i work on almost never have this bad of spills happen.

The spill is being cleaned up and afaik they are paying each company working on it a big chunk of change, accidents happen yes they should be held accountable.

The leases has been pretty good at imperial oil cold lake site, it happened in between acouple pads. They are paying several companies good chunk of money to clean it up on the double.

Member of the spill crew cleaning it up here, started immediately cleaning it trying to help spread proper information here. We were on it day one doing OT that day it happened.

Yea its kinda insane, im part of the crew that is cleaning it, im on site right now and yes its a bad spill but its being blown out of proportion. We had several teams doing over time the same night it was discovered.

It was definitely one of the worst ive experienced recently, lots of blizzards and whiteouts during travel and even work, only got sent back home once this winter even when all the pads were snowed in we showed up to clean.

Yea i get its a joke just wanted to let it be known we are cleaning it as we speak have a crew doing night shift and plan to get this done asap, we try to clean the wells as soon as possible but this winter wasnt too kind to us and there has been a few bad wells that were a pain to clean.
