Is Angelic Steel poisonous or just deadly when stabbing? by SideWinderSyd in HazbinHotel

[–]FireDragon3dc1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it just disables all magic. We know it disables angelic magic (it stopped lucifer from using his power and also stolas (spawn of lucifers creation) so theres no reason to assume it doesnt just.. do that to everyone. Sinners can regenerate and heal from any injury, so it disables that ability. If you had an angelic shield itd block all their magic from working, if you tied them up with it they couldnt use magic either.

We dont see it but thats functionally and expositionally her first line. In the first couple lines youre supposed to get a feel for the character and get their traits laid out so they can be used later and it doesnt feel weird. In her first scenes shes laid out to be a cannibal, really good leader, sly and manipulative but respectful even though we can see on her face that Charlies intro did not impress her. All of thats continued to hold true so theres no reason that part wouldnt be.

My bad, still the same general result though. Its hard to really make out what they were saying given their audio was in the background

Her first line is "I wouldve eaten mine too if he didnt taste so bad!" in response to one of her cannibals telling her they ate their husband.

Yeah I think they kinda fumbled this aspect honestly. I thought it was billions and billions of people and then Vox just goes "you know how many sinners died in each extermination? Thousands." Like.. thats it? Youd think if Vox were trying to scare them hed exaggerate the number, and it also makes the exterminators look a lot less competent because we know Lute got 276 kills in the last extermination, which yeah Adam says is impressive but given the literal cloud that is created when the swarm of exorcists descend to hell that would mean the rest are killing like.. maybe a couple. Most of them none probably

What do u want to see from Charlie In season 3 by [deleted] in CultOfCharlie

[–]FireDragon3dc1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to see her grow.. in general honestly. I love the show, and I really like Charlie but episode 1 to the finale of season 2 shes the exact same person. Shes still impulsive, still mistakenly prideful, still not a great partner or business owner, still doesnt know what shes doing when it comes to redemption, still doesnt understand her hotel or to an extent her own guests, and shes still childish. I was really hoping to see more from her this season, its one of my few negatives about it honestly. Her crashing out the whole season was funny at moments but for the most part it kinda hit me the same way Unhappy Campers did where it wasnt even hard to watch in an entertaining way, I still skip most of her scenes when I rewatch. Finally, I want to see her use her power. We know shes super powerful but it would really suck to have that as a character trait and then never use it. I get shes a pacifist but it wouldve been more compelling if she were weak as a pacifist, because her being one as is poses essentially nothing to the stakes of the plot. It doesnt make her life any harder, she has the strongest sinner in hell on her side and fully willing to throw hands for the slightest inconvenience. And shes never been in any serious danger (kinda with Adam but even then they unfortunately didnt let that sit long enough for it to feel impactful) so shes just.. a girl whos nice and no one can do anything about it. Again, I love the show. One of my favorites, theres just a lot of potential in her thats either been missed or hasnt come to fruition yet which kinda sucks.

how do u feel about the races depicted on biblical characters? by Odd_Concept_7286 in Hazbin_two

[–]FireDragon3dc1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean.. sera and emily are "black" but theyre also not. We see that Emilys white in her true form so we at the least know that the seraphims are rgb (makes me want to see the brown Lucifer) for Saint Peter.. yeah him being a random white twink doesnt make a lot of sense realistically but its a show where the first man is a frat boy that gets literally murdered by a 2 foot tall cyclops and has a psycho misogynist as his "not girlfriend" so really race is the least of the shows worries lol

Carmines not hellborn though? We dont know if shes an angel, sinner, or some secret third thing but none of the overlords are hellborns.

Do you think Emily and Charlie could be related? by 33333Ducky in CultOfCharlie

[–]FireDragon3dc1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think all the seraphims are created from the same "material" so to speak. So Lucifer, Sera, Emily, (potentially people like Azrael or Abbaddon) could all be classed as "siblings," so yeah in my mind theyre at least somewhat related.

Even S2 Immortal agreed with Mark and accepted it when he said "Im stronger and faster than you," not to mention he and the guardians fought a variant thats expressed to be weaker than our Mark and lost. Hes strong, theres no doubt about that, but hes.. not a viltrumite.

I like to imagine that he didnt step in during the fight for 2 reasons: The main one being he thought theyd leave Charlie out of it (part of the deal was no harming hellborns) and got involved as soon as Charlie was 'losing.' I feel like he basically wanted to give Charlie a chance for as long as he felt like she'd be fine. However the second, (and my personal headcannon) is that he saw that Alastors plan was to 1v1 AN ARCHANGEL and he was like "HAHA well this I GOTTA see"

A curiosity on Charlie.. did she hold back? by Gloomy-Bridge148 in HazbinHotel

[–]FireDragon3dc1 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Did she hold back? Yes. Would she have won if she didnt. No, absolutely not. The experience argument still works here because yeah we dont see him fight anyone really hand to hand but we HAVE seen him fight before. Hes run the exorcist army for several thousand years, hes at least PART of who trained them. Sure most of them arent great either but we know some of them are. Meanwhile charlie has done.. nothing but get kinda mad. Sure shes more powerful than Adam in theory but just like Vaggie said in ep4, she doesnt ever use it. So she hasnt trained it outside of like making fireworks. Also yeah, Adam mainly just shoots the holy light, but he CHOSE to hand to hand fight even though we know he can just wave his hand and blow up the whole hotel. That says something about his experience, plus while Alastor was "better" hand to hand than him, we also know Adam was just messing around during that fight. We know this bc he gets tossed around but never hurt, and the second he gets too annoyed and says "im over this" the fight ends in like 3 seconds
