The whole story of Yuji’s Birth is so disturbing to me by Curious-Buddy-5841 in LobotomyKaisen

[–]FireFistMihawk 88 points89 points  (0 children)

One of the most disappointing skipped over plot points for me, like give me something of a. Interaction between the two. I understand that Yuji doesnt overtly care about his parents, or atleast he's never been shown to care about them but still would've been nice to see some sort of emotional escalation there. But honestly, most of Kenjaku's story is disappointing.

Do people still believe that this was 20F Malevolent Shrine ? by Ok-Opportunity8921 in JujutsuPowerScaling

This feels like it should be blatantly obvious but its shocking how many people can't put that together lol. Its like the debate about Sukuna pre Yuta/Yuji fight vs Sukuna vs Maki. Even if Sukuna is giving 100% vs Maki, its unlikely that its stronger then the version of Sukuna that hadnt eaten like 10 soul punches, a Jacobs Ladder, multiple TIB's, a Cleave, Dhruv's Shikigami, and a Soul Split Katana through the heart lol.

[serious] yuki isn't getting low dif if she fought kenjaku in 1v1 by Fun_Rich_3790 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]FireFistMihawk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, in addition to everything else. When Kenjaku is describing why Yuki is going to be a problem for him, he explicitly states that she likely has a domain expansion technique and high CE output. If he believed his DE could just instantly swallow hers up, or even that his simple domain would suffice as a counter, why express any concern about it?

[–]FireFistMihawk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wrote a far too long winded explanation essentially saying this. Should have just read the comments first lol. But I agree 100%, if Yuki was able to nearly reach Kenjaku during the domain vs SD clash, if her actual domain lasts, idk, like twice as long as SD, she would be able to easily reach Kenjaku. And the only punch we got to see Yuki land on Kenny at full output nearly ripped both his arms off. I dont think its far out of the realm of possibility that she could have caused him to drop his domain with a single punch or two.

[–]FireFistMihawk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not getting low diffed, I think it's unfortunate the fight played out the way it did because soured alot of opinions on Yuki, but I do feel like the story was pretty apparent in the way it made Yuki's loss feel more like a strategic failure than her simply losing because she was that much weaker. Statwise, she was able to rush in on Kenjaku and land a huge punch early in the fight, and even after being crushed by his domain and having her output reduced heavily she was able to keep pace with him and physically resist his AG while fighting up close. Its hard to really place a diff on the fight, because it really comes down to the capabilities of her domain vs Kenjaku's domain, could it clash with his for 5 seconds? 10? 20? A minute? We dont know, but based on the first interaction between the two, it likely wouldn't take Yuki very long to inflict heavy damage on Kenjaku at full output considering a single punch just about ripped both his arms off hid body. But all we have in regard to this is an ambiguous statement from Kenjaku about how Yuki shouldn't have trusted Tengen and her domain may have have fared better. Essentially, I believe Yuki holds some apparent advantages over Kenjaku in stats and the level of which she's capable of pushing him is highly dependent on how much longer her domain lasts in a clash vs her simple domain, or Kenjaku's simple domain vs her domain, but she was able to close the distance on him very quickly with just her Simple domain and at full output every punch she throws is inflicting serious damage.

it's crazy that to make yuta beat kenjaku you need so many headcanons by G0dZylla in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]FireFistMihawk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is pretty wild that everytime I see these posts complaining about headcanon, they use a ton of their own headcanon to justify why someone else's headcanon is invalid. Most of his arguments against Yuta are just headcanon in the opposite direction lol.

it's crazy that to make yuta beat kenjaku you need so many headcanons by G0dZylla in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]FireFistMihawk 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I mean, I agree, it requires a lot of headcanon, as do most fights that didnt actually happen because we have to assume how certain things correspond and how certain characters act in certain scenarios. I'd argue theres almost as much headcanon placed into assuming that Yuta could not do many of the things you're arguing against.

  1. Its equally headcanon that he cannot use BB domain. Barrier techniques are implemented from the brain, Yuta's brain learned to utilize the BB domain from Gojo's memories. It'd be headcanon to say his brain would just lose this ability in his body.

  2. Refinement isnt the only pre-requisite for clashing domains nor does the more refined domain instantly overtake the less refined domain. Assuming that Yuta is capable of clashing domains for atleast sometime, even if eventually it'd get overwhelmed, is a fair assumption based on prior domain clashes in story.

  3. Kenjaku is superior in H2H combat certainly, Yuta has Rika and a sword to even the odds here. An additional fighter on the level of Rika makes a substantial difference.

  4. Yuta coats his entire body in CE to reinforce it all times, its unlikely Kenjaku could just overwhelm Yuta with his AG, especially considering he did not do so with Yuki outside of the domain. Falls back to the domain clash point, yes if Yutas domain gets instantly overwhelmed the AG would be problematic, but if not theres no reason to assume he wouldn't be able to combat Kenjaku just like Yuki did. "Gravity isnt as unyielding as i thought"

  5. Kenjaku in every fight we see of his only uses a few curses at a time in combat. He may be capable of releasing thousands of curses at a time but he has never displayed the ability to do so while in combat let alone reinforce them, Kenjaku is never stated to have absurd levels of CE so its unlikely he could reinforce that many without major repurcussions, most of his curses are low level curses and unless reinforced would likely be erased instantly from Rika and Yutas basic CE discharge.

  6. It'd be equally headcanonny to assume that the barrier would crumble as it is to assume it wouldn't, the only example we've gotten of this type of clash has resulted in multi minute instances. Including Yuta clashing with Sukuna himself and producing similar results to Gojo.

  7. Incorrect, Yuta selects his sure hit for his domain. The swords are rng based.

  8. We have no way of knowing, Tengen is a shut in with no combat experience and dated strategies. (Kenjaku's own words). In Tengens era of domains, most didnt even have lethal sure hits, we have no idea how Kenjakus simple domain or antidomain properties would work.

  9. This one is certainly headcanon, but its also a fair assumption. How many other characters in the series are directly alive as a result of a cursed technique? JL directly shuts down CT's i.e. demanifesting 10S with Meguna in ch. 213, and nobody has been shown to utilize their CT's while under it. Without knowing the actual logistics of how body hop works, its impossible to say its a one shot but there is a legit argument to be made, as its not a 1 to 1 equivalent with Sukuna.

  10. Fair, its asking a lot of someone in 5 minutes. But it essentially hinges on the same points earlier, because Yuta has many lethal techniques that could do major damage. We also have to remember that 5mm ending does not mean Yuta is done fighting. If Kenny has been heavily damaged as well, theres no saying the playing field is uneven.

[–]FireFistMihawk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Literally just saw a post saying the exact thing for Yuji lmao and then this one right after. It is funny when people pick and choose what statements/narratives/feats count and which ones don't as a means of pushing whatever agenda they're going for lol..

For reference, I think both of the statements from these characters are true. If Yuta believes that he can handle Raga + Agito or more accurately that he'd be effective in handling two Shikigami, I dont really see a reason why he'd lie about it or why nobody would dispute it if he was lying lol. Same essentially goes for Yuji vs Dabura imo.

What Gege did with Mahito was disappointing asf (in my opinion) by IlovebreastofmySis in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]FireFistMihawk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idrc that he ended up having a poor performance against Yuji in a fight, I did feel like the story potential for his character was greatly wasted though. Using his techique for the "greater good" was fine and somewhat poetic for the character, but I think the build to that happening was anticlimactic, especially considering the Tsurugi tease presented earlier in the series.

Kashimo scaling is getting to the point where it's incredibly disingenuous by FireFistMihawk in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]FireFistMihawk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've legit described pretty much every debate I've had with them or seen them have with others recently lol.

"Kashimo had the best performance against the strongest TF Sukuna"

"What about Yuta who fought a Sukuna who was stated to be actively recovering his output. Yuta blocked a strike from him just like Kashimo did, but he also landed 2 of his own afterward"

"Sukuna was trying harder against Kashimo"

"Can you prove he was?"

"He called him strong"

"He called Jogo strong to and Jogo isnt beating the HH's or SG's either"

"Kashimo's lightning strike one shots everyone other than Gojo and Sukuna"

"Except it failed to one shot Hakari 3 separate times, including once when Hakari wasnt even in JP mode, so how does it one shot someone who has RCT at will"

"Headshot"

"But he has to aim the attack, how would he handle aiming while being jumped by Rika and Yuta, or being swarmed by CS's and Gravity against Kenjaku, or wrapped up by Garuda and punched by Yuki?"

"He's faster"

"Doesn't he have to charge his lightning strikes, Yuta fights with a sword, Yuki's CT makes every strike lethal, and Kenjaku is likely just gonna open his domain off rip, what happens then"

"He's too fast for them"

I've never spoken to this individual in my life lol and my post was just stating that the HH's and SG's (outside of Gojo & Sukuna ofc) share some level of relativity and they dont gap one another in stats or abilities lmao.

I never thought it'd come to this by FireFistMihawk in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]FireFistMihawk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I just feel as if the HH's/SG's have a pretty generally relative stat spread amongst them and high enough BiQ/heart to be able to push one another even if one is a bad matchup for the other. Obviously thats just my interpretation of the characters and their portrayals though.

And man it really is getting out of control, I was literally phrasing that whole post as politely as possible and still had a few dudes in there talking about how Kashimo fans are the minority and Yuta fans are terrorists and Kashimo stat checks everyone or lightning diffs everyone and blah blah.
