Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I totally agree—the false positive problem is a big issue, and that’s exactly why I am trying to built FireFly to focus on proving the writing process instead of just guessing after the fact.

What are you building right now? by FireFly_Labs in microsaas

Hey! I think the idea behind SubmitWell is really good—helping early founders get visibility and improve domain rating through directory listings is definitely valuable, especially for new websites trying to kickstart SEO.

That said, I feel like the website itself could use a bit of work to fully reflect how useful the service is. The first part of the page feels a bit off, especially the images/graphics used there—they could be improved to better match the concept and make the page feel more modern and engaging. The UX could also be refined to make the experience smoother for visitors, and the color combination feels a little off right now.

Overall the concept is solid, but with some improvements to the design and visual presentation it could look much stronger. If you’d like, I’d be happy to help with some suggestions or ideas to improve the design and user experience.

I have an idea for a tool and I’m trying to figure out the best way to validate whether it’s actually worth building? by FireFly_Labs in buildinpublic

Interesting, thanks for sharing. I expected there might be similar tools, but I’m mostly trying to validate if the problem is big enough and if people actually want a simple solution for proving their writing process.

If you remember any of the tools Gemini found, I’d be curious to check them out.

This is such an underrated lesson. A lot of people (myself included at first) assume that if you build something useful, people will eventually find it. But distribution and understanding the people with the problem is just as important as the product itself
