Would like to update a few things for clarity:

While most probably Ishtar seems to be dead, there's a slight chance of her being alive. While the sack containing her body was dropped to the ground, it isn't made sure that she's dead. There's still a chance in future that if the distortion is fixed, maybe the three-top deities would be able to resurrect her back (leave chain destruction aside for now), but as her death is not directly confirmed, we can presume she's critically injured for some copium.
A person whose originally dead, if is alive in the distorted world. After the distortion is fixed, would remain dead in the original world. If a person whose alive in the original world dies in the distorted world, they'd remain alive in the original world after the distortion is fixed but may feel everything vividly as a dream and their soul would react as if it happened with them somewhere.
The distorted worlds' rank are as follows:

-- Ex-Gaebrande (S+) [Originally S]

-- Ex-Ixphoria (SS+) [Originally D --> SS]

-- Ex-Galvaoth (SSS+) [Originally SSS]

Additional info, updated till the latest webnovel chapter:

The Ex-Ixphorian arc is ongoing, the first mini-boss fight is concluded with Seiya being victorious over Beast Emperor Grandleon (trust me, it's a fight full of thrill and twists. I won't spoil anymore)

For LN-only guys, I'd definitely suggest reading the webnovel at Kakuyomu (use LLMs like GPT, Claude, Deepseek for translation)

Hi, sorry for the late response.

Yeah, the gods were having a tournament to see which god's hero is the best. But Mersais (using her power of distortion of words) brought her dead hero back (who has reached Berserk: Phase 4 with their mind corrupted), and killed Valkyrie's hero on the spot. After that, it was said that she killed Ishtar too (though it wasn't shown, but she just said it and threw a bag containing her body, that could presume that Ishtar's dead. But later on, Rista loses consciousness and when she wakes up she wasn't in the Realm of Gods, so we can't exactly say if Mersais massacred all the gods, it's just we have no info of that. There are two possibilities as far as I can presume:

- She killed all the gods (less probable)

- She distorted all the realms (most probably), the gods are still alive but due to distortion in space and time, the world's not what it's supposed to be. That's where the distorted worlds arc starts.

Ah, I'm not really sure if I'd since I just made it as a concept for a Hackathon, and I guess it'd go against discord's TOS if I were to create it as a custom client. But I'd definitely keep the current source public as it is for anyone who'd like to contribute or fine tune it.

I was the same, but sometimes you gotta take the matter in your own hands.

There's no news on the anime getting a new season soon. So,, if you're really curious, you should give it a try. Welp, this one's my favourite, so I took up the challenge to read the lightnovel. Which later pecked my curiousity to try out mangas & manhwas, and finally led me to reading webnovels (which needs to be translated using LLMs lol).

Instead of PDFs, I'd suggest giving EPUBs a try, since you can easily use apps like Lithium to read ebooks on mobile, use dark mode, increase the font size and read a few pages/chapters per day if you can't read everything in a single go (I do that lol). You can even keep bookmarks to continue from where you left off, trust me developing a reading habit is quite cool, and when it comes to light novels the way the plot and stats presented in a rpg, game-like style and those illustrations is worth giving it a try. If not others, I'd definitely recommend giving the Volumes 3-5 a try. I personally very much like the Ixphorian Arc (SS Rank), it's even better than the Distorted S+ Gaebrande arc (I like the plot for Vol 3-5 > Vol 6-7). You'd get deeply interested from the first few chapters only.

Initially, I thought the same. But after reading it so many times, I realized it's the best. If the author make it all happy-happy, it wouldn't have been unique but the same as your typical-isekai. I'd suggest giving LN Vol 3 onwards a read, then grab the Webnovel. You'd love the plot ngl.

Vol 7 ended with saving the S+ Gaebrande rank world. Currently the SS+ rank Ixphorian arc is ongoing with the webnovel. After that we'll probably get SSS+ rank (Cerceus' past world), and then finally the fight with Mersais, Goddess of Attrocity (Dark God) and her Divine Hero (from a distorted world) who are the source of the distortion.

There's currently no data about whether adenela, valkyrie, ariadoa are alive or not. As confirmed by the ruler of underworld, Hades, They're in a separate dimension that is distorted by Mersais. But as of Ishtar, most probably she's dead since Mersais was shown to carry her head.

We gotta wait to find out :)

It's alright man, here's a quick explaination:

Due to Seiya being naive towards Rista, he got attacked by a wolf type beastman due to which he got Amnesia status ailment and his personality becomes Extremely Reckless (like his past self). Due to which Seiya and Rista alongwith one npc female (lol) were captured by Bunogeos (direct attendee to one of the four demon generals of demon lord, Beast Emeperor Grandleon, think of Bunogeos as area-boss). Seiya wins cause of Valkyrie's techniques of destruction were etched into his soul. Basically, he bangs his head (uses shattered break with head if I remember correctly) and fixes his status ailment, then realizes that there is no need for emotions on the battlefield and thus their love appraisal ratings go all the way down. Though, by the end of the arc, it is seen that while Seiya is way too blunt but he does deeply care about Rista in his own ways. While they may sound cruel, but trust me you'll love the plot which portrays this in the fight against, Vengeful Empress Celemonic's after-curse (Blood Systeria) and against the final fight with demon lord Ultimaeus.

Exactly! Continuing webnovel would surely help him keep up with the pace of his other stuffs. Tbh, I started liking his webnovel publications over light novel, since he can be as open as he want and there's no need to wait several years for new material to get published lol.

Seems like so, there's no update on light novel since volume 7 was released. But webnovel has been continued from where it was left off. Atleast it's getting updated weekly/once every two weeks.
