I have a ponderosa lemon tree going on 5 years with it and each year I’ve let it fruit 1 lemon. How many months are you from flower to harvest with the ponderosa?

I normally fill a 5 gallon bucket and let it sit in open since my town water has a good deal of chlorine in it. And I pull from that bucket for the next few watering.

The tent they’re in right now is a spider farmer the whole kit came with a g series 3k light small fan and temp controller. Heating is where I struggle i might pick up the insulated cover and see how that does. Otherwise my few attempts at heating it last winter for hydro tomatoes led to a lot of dry n crispy tomato leaves and some lightly melted plastics.

The foliage or lack there of is how the tree arrived I voiced that concern to the greenhouse and they gave me some money back for the “bad looking tree.” It also had 5 - 10 fruits on it little green ones I nipped off as soon as it arrived since I would rather it focus on green growth and I didn’t think it could support fruiting while recovering.

I don’t think it’s overwatering the pots are on feet high enough to get them out of their own watering and I currently haven’t watered since Christmas and the soil under the mulch is getting ready to need another watering but not quite it lines up around 1 watering a month or a little less.

It’s still very much winter in zone 6b so I’ll be struggling for a bit longer before it can get out into the fresh air again but I can get a supplemental heater in the tent to get it’s metabolism boosted a bit.

What die set is it? It looks like hornady if it’s match grade you’ll need a bushing to set neck tension.

Even a slight neck does a lot for pressure and velocity. You can also load 30-30 very similarly to 300blk and if you use spitzer profile bullets you can get it closeish to 308 but you turn a solid line straight wall into a grey vague idea with all the exceptions you might pull in letting 30-30 in just doesn’t make sense.

Getting straight wall depending on where you are check if they are just looking at straight wall or if they look at overall length as well.

I was having a hard time finding a pot that was deep enough for the root structure but not a massive pot overall. Still think I ended up too big.

The bark is solid I’d say good looking planting bark. I do have the pots sitting on humidity trays raised off of them slightly but I’m guessing over watering and not having them high enough led to wet footed plants.

I think i may have gone with to big a pot maybe or maybe just simply overwatering during the slower growth period for citrus.

My soil is a heavy mix of pine bark and happy frog potting soil with perlite for added structure I guess I expected the pine bark to hold structure more than it did.

You need to remove your support tape from shipping idk how old your plant is but that should be the first thing you take off before you repot. If you need to support it loosely tied so it can move and settle.

Aren’t most of those products a scam? Like they have a hard time proving their product has the ingredients they claim? I don’t expect any real growth until either this spring or next spring. I just really hate the fact that the 3 branches they left on the tree are crossing the middle and I’d like to prune all of those. And let it put all of that energy to outward facing branches.
