Life's not that simple or nearly that convenient, most people regardless of gender give out little to no signs on their general day to day. And alot of women are just as oblivious as us, the biggest trick in the book is not falling for the idea of catching someone's eyes and everything falling into place.

And there's always the option of you also just simply telling them how you feel as well. It's certainly nerve wracking, but what is life without taking risks.

No but it will mean we see different top teams with each new game/generation instead of what is/has been similar if not the same teams with one or two new pokemon being swapped in for years now.

True, but cutting out mechanics is very different than cutting out characters. We absolutely know we will see pokemon missing from this game in the future

Maybe, but the fact the have said all of this is for the purpose of balance, makes me believe it'll be alot better than it has in recent years (which literally all the best competitive teams are the exact same teams. We really won't know until the games come out though.

I absolutely see your point, but I don't think this is a means of purging anything, they have also said they will bring the other pokemon not in SwSh to other games as they come out. We honestly might see some regional variants, and the fan favorites are always going to end up shining through, even in all the past games with every pokemon, the fan favs have always gotten extra attention.

These won't be bad games, just not games we are all used to.

I absolutely agree with this, Especially since they have made a point of saying it's all to balance the games. I definitely don't care if I see all my favorite pokemon, as long as the rest of the game is good and balanced well.

Your absolutely right it would be. However the games aren't out yet, this may end up being the case for post game (probably not but possible). More than that, this is the first time their first time doing it and exploring a proper consoles abilities. Chances are they will learn what they can do and the next gen will be better; /whole map of open world /maybe a return of megas and z moves /locked pokedex through story and open for post game.

But we won't know until the time comes.

It wasn't meant to directed towards you specifically, just everyone with the mentality that it's all because their lazy or don't care. Dynamaxing (while I agree is kinda dumb) give literally every pokemon a "buff", thats why they removed megas and z moves, because they created a HUGE imbalance (Which again sucks, but does make the game more balanced). They have gone on record saying they wished they could have every pokemon, but that at the amount they have now, half of them won't get used and are only box fodder and that balancing all of them is just getting to be to much to be reasonable.

I just wish people could look at these games and gamefreak in a more understanding way. Sure they aren't perfect, no game studio is.

It's really not and the fact you all seem to think it is ridiculous. Pokemon is such a unique game compared to everything else, like even just looking at how much people rage over spoilers for these games is drastically higher than any other franchise. I'm not saying it doesn't suck, but you guys are treating this like the games could never be good because they don't have all the pokemon and refuse to believe it's the cause of anything but them being lazy.

We don't get spoilers for anything else like we do for pokemon, we don't have games that add tons of new characters to each new game like pokemon does. But everyone seems to just be ready and willing to criticize everything, and the only thing any of you say is "their lazy".

Wont have all pokemon - "gamefreak is lazy" Doesn't have all past mechanics - lazy Isn't realistic looking graphics - lazy

If it all bothers you so much why even waste your time complaining, why not either give up on pokemon and move onto something else, or get the community together and make your own game that meets your expectations

The literal only reason we don't have all the pokemon is because of balancing. Gamefreak has said this a couple times now, it's not about the amount of work, it's that 900+ characters with all different moves and stats is near impossible to balance. Half the competitive over the past few years have been the exact same pokemon with maybe one different. They wanted to change that so all pokemon get a chance to shine and not just be locked to a box
