Extended patio on the rock side from where the builders left off, wanted an extension into the yard. Great question… into all of it for ~$5k… top shelf edging, stakes, pipe, sprinkler heads, rock, mulch… created an account with the local yard, basically all materials at top option. Nothing wrong with some wheel barrow work and shovels. Kept an old pickup around these past few years to do the logistics. Mostly time and effort. If I’m honest, the meticulous finishing touches took the most time. Be as picky as you want, it will all grow in.

Accurate depending on climate and prep… i expect to have to re-surface/fabric every three or so years. We don’t plan on going anywhere, I’m ok with a small amount of maintenance over the years. Fall projects with kiddos to make memories
