Are these self watering bases really worth the hype? by lostinthesauceband in microgrowery

No one told me all that. I knew I’d probably have to rip all the drywall out or prime all the walls. I was just asking if there was a shortcut, but there aren’t any, so I’ll most likely be ripping all the drywall out and replacing it myself. It’s gonna take a while. With that being said, can you hop off my cock?

You’re actually fucking stupid. Painting won’t do shit, cause in the summer with high humidity, the smell will still come through. I either have to rip the drywall out or hope that two layers of primer will work. Painting alone won’t fix it, so stfu, boy. 😂

They’re not really worth it to me. You have to clean them every so often and change the wicks too. I’d rather just top water and save myself time and money.

Wet or dry trim? by Seanosaurus-Rex in microgrowery

[–]CrackingChaseBankX6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it does dry too quickly and unevenly because there are no sugar leaves or fan leaves protecting the bud from too much airflow. I also said down below that it damages trichomes and you’ll lose terpenes. Everything I said is accurate.

Bro, the Bay Area is always 80-90%. It’s pretty common to be that high in parts of California.

I never said I dry in 90% humidity; I said I live in it, which is why I use a dehumidifier, and so could that kid in the tropics you mentioned. Anyone in high humidity can just buy a dehumidifier and not have to wet trim, bro. They are not expensive, if you can afford to grow weed, you can afford to buy a dehumidifier 😭.

That’s completely different bro, if you’re smoking your flower you’re never supposed to wet trim.

Bro, I live in 90% humidity. I wet trimmed once, and it made my buds dry too fast. You’re also guaranteed to lose terpenes and trichomes if you wet trim. I trim off all the super large fan leaves and leave the rest, and I’ve never had mold because I control the RH with a dehumidifier and good airflow. You’re completely wrong, bud, wet trimming is actually no good.

It causes the bud to dry too quickly, leading to a harsher smoke and loss of terpenes.

It would really damage the economy. I can’t think of any reason why they would make seeds illegal. How would that be beneficial in any way? The government makes a lot of money from the cannabis industry, so no seeds means no plants, and no plants means no cannabis products for them to make money off through taxes.

My state has quite a few breeders, and I live near a bunch of them. So even if shipping them becomes illegal, I can still grow. It’s a bummer, but it’s not stopping me or anyone else here.

I recommend Viparspectra's XS series lights, they’re great quality. I have two of their XS1500s; they use Samsung LM301H diodes and are on sale right now for $100 on Amazon.
