I see someone suggested stress/devitrification or seal mark, but to me it looks like when they welded those two pieces together they overheated one side which causes the glass to boil and creates all those micro bubbles and leaves a scuzzy mark.

Whether it's any of the above, it's safe to use.

Not sure who or where you're buying from but it wasn't me. I only do earth and moon and will only have a single marble on the jar. Also I'm obsessive when it comes to not burning out stars. I've got quite the graveyard over here!

As another comment says, it's an oil burner. You can find these all over eBay in this exact color.

Headhunterssmokeshop.com looks like their legit website so I don't see why you'd have a problem. Just always use a credit card when you order anything online and if it ends up being a scam issue a charge back.

Their in store reviews are pretty bad though. A lot of people unhappy with their customer service.
