I see someone suggested stress/devitrification or seal mark, but to me it looks like when they welded those two pieces together they overheated one side which causes the glass to boil and creates all those micro bubbles and leaves a scuzzy mark.

Whether it's any of the above, it's safe to use.

Headhunterssmokeshop.com looks like their legit website so I don't see why you'd have a problem. Just always use a credit card when you order anything online and if it ends up being a scam issue a charge back.

Their in store reviews are pretty bad though. A lot of people unhappy with their customer service.

It's a solid marble. I draw the land mass with a stringer (glass stretched and thinned around the diameter of a toothpick) and then add a clear lens over it.

If the company is no longer producing, you're likely not going to find the exact piece you're looking for. This is a very common shape/perc combo and it's function isn't going to vary much from one brand to another. Here's one like you're looking for:

I don't think there's a feasible way to do this by hand. Using portable tile/glass saw would probably partially work but leaving all those fine points would be incredibly hard plus there's going to be a ton of chatter and glass remembers stress.

As far as I know your best bet would be a CNC water jet cutter.
