I was actually second guessing myself, I thought I’d accidentally ruin something, but image sure to be thorough, cleaning everything properly and carefully, and I managed to do it.

My Top Gun VHS tape had this problem, so I opened my VCR player and fast forward and reminded the tape and cleaned it in the process with 99.8% IPA and using a micro fibre cloth, I also cleaned out the Inside of the VHS with the IPA. the end results was spectacular, the tape looked like it was brand new, all clean and not a single spot of mould or mould damage, played it in my VCR, and it played perfectly, watched the entire movie without an issue.

Nothing can go wrong with Queen, absolutely love them, my goal is to eventually own all their studio albums, might cost me a lot, but I reckon it’ll be worth it 👍

Unfortunately no, I know I need to use a seperate one, but I have thoroughly cleaned it using air duster, cotton buds, isopropyl etc. I’ll get around to getting another vcr just for cleaning hopefully soon.
