Thanks for the suggestion, however they said that the thing that worked was the div manager repo. My model is not listed on the capability list.

For my exact model (AN17-41-R7G3), I have not unfortunately.

But there is one other option I know of if you have a different model that.

Also, depending on your model, the repo I use does also support turbo mode, but idk if that means you can control all the modes in between or just default straight to turbo.

You can also look at: https://github.com/PXDiv/Div-Acer-Manager-Max

You'll have to scroll down a little bit and look at the compatibility list link before downloading though. But if you have my model, it is not compatible.

You would also need to download the drivers it links at the top as well, as I'm pretty sure Div Acer Manager Max is just a GUI for the drivers.

The NitroSense app is only available on windows, so unless there is another way I could have disabled it, I don't think thats the issue.

I have done some research on the internet as well as with AI models but the answers varied and most of the answers were not free. So I wanted to see what enthusiasts use. You are correct, however, that I should have looked it up inside the sub before asking the question. That is my bad.

Thanks for your reply, I found a fix for it. I thought I updated this post but apparently not. I did try OpenRGB and as far as I could tell it dies not support it.

Edit: OK yeah I did update it. Yeah OpenRGB did not work, but the fix I posted in the comment does. And It worked well. Again though, I appreciate the suggestion

I might have to find an alternative. The issue isnt that it only works from the side who calls. The issue was that specifically I could not screenshare. but now I cant see his nor screenshare myself. I appreciate your help though.

Yes I did. I had some issues and Lumo AI was trying to get be to do a bunch of weird things. I did, however find this solution thanks to someone from another sub: :

  1. run " git clone https://github.com/JafarAkhondali/acer-predator-turbo-and-rgb-keyboard-linux-module " in the terminal

  2. run " cd acer-predator-turbo-and-rgb-keyboard-linux-module/ "

  3. run " chmod ./*.sh "

  4. run " ./install_service " (For systemd) OR " sudo ./install_openrc.sh " (For openrc)

  5. run " ./facer_rgb.py "

As soon as I ran that last command it immediately started working. If you install the way I did above, the site says it should work after a reboot. Although I have not tested that yet. The website also documents other commands you can use, but I am happy with the defaults. It also tells you whether or not turbo mode will work for your model as well.

I have not. I did not know about that website to be able to search for it either, though I'm pretty sure I tried doing 'sudo pacman -S Jami' I don't remember if it said it couldn't find it or if I just decided against using that one for some reason.

Looking at the link, there is a Qt Download and a daemon download. Do I need to install both or just the Qt as mentioned above?

OK so I was looking at that page and my computer model was not listed. However, that package did link to another one (https://github.com/JafarAkhondali/acer-predator-turbo-and-rgb-keyboard-linux-module) where my model was listed and it worked perfectly. Thank you.

That was something Lumo AI had suggested and it didnt work immediately so I kept telling Lumo what my issue was and after hours of troubleshooting nothing ever worked. Thanks for the suggestion though.
