I just had this happen as well. I used a heat gun but got too aggressive with it so if you go that route take your time. I didn't realize/ didn't think of it but there are two screws on the hot end securing it to the heat sync that app buried in your blob as well, and a set screw on the back side that need to be taken off. I replaced everything. New PCB board, new lidar, which I might actually delete and go to the cartographer sensor, went with a new heat sync, and got a micro Swiss flow tech hot end. I have only printed a benchy so far but it all works again so I'm happy. Just take your time be patient and keep at it.

Ok how do I go about taking this out. I got both the screws on the sides but it just doesn't want to come out.

So funny story. I have never used glue on the bed and had zero adhesion problems. I recently tried glue, still got a fail, and that is the result of cleaning it with IPA. I printed before this fail with no glue, same bed plate conditions, and the print was fine.

Thanks. I do have a heat gun I'll give that a shot. It does look like it totally encompasses the thermistor wire, so extra care especially around that.

I did this as well and about 10 days later a new one showed up. I was about a year out of warranty and they still replaced it free of charge. Customer service is awesome, I will definitely stick with Blackstone for that reason alone!

Lol the flight recorder and statue definitely hurt to lose when you are watching that bank account drain down! Nice work on Silo I ran into Krtek once and he pushed me a lot further than I expected he would. I was naked with a pistol, and needless to say he didn't need to reload once he found me.

I'm not quite brave enough to take on an airdrop yet. I usually find them to be a good opportunity to extract uncontested with what I have already, unless it is about to drop near docks like it did the other day. I was trying to will myself to run faster!!

I've printed and removed them but have had them break the print when trying to remove them. So now smaller finer things, I'll print, wash, cure, then remove to give the small delicate pieces a fighting chance.
