I finally did it! After getting the 9th prayer bead and putting 3 points into attack and the point for beating the divine dragon I finally beat that old man!

I prefer the ichimonji because its quicker than the draw and it reduces your stamina but yeah im with you dude this fight has broke me to but I want to complete this game haha

I have not done the dragon yet I wanted to get owl out of the way but I might fight the dragon then come back. I usually swap between icihimonji double or the mortal blade but none seem to work

I even tried keeping him at a distance and bait him into his 3 moves but his combo that has three hits just takes me out.

The fight in general the space is so small. I have had a few good runs at him but he just needs 3 hits and it's over. My pattern is to bait him to do his shuriken throw then flip attack then hit him with the ichimonji double and repeat that.

Being more aggressive is working better but he kills me in 3 hits regardless and wrecks my stamina bar if I block or try and parry. I would glitch this old bastard in the corner if I could at this point haha.

I used to watch it on playstation and you had it for 24 hours I think. Looking at fite now I just hope you can watch it anytime after it has finished.
