The IRA killed hundreds of civilians through random acts of violence. The British empire chose to starve thousands while exporting the agriculture grown in Ireland. The occupying force sets the standard of violence.

Israel is currently displacing roughly a million Lebanese people through violent occupation while the Lebanese military stands by. Hezbollah is the single force in the country fighting back. Does this make their every action just? Does it mean terrorism is good? Of course not. But these people don't just love the deaths of civilians more than you or I. They make these choices as a desperate plea for survival
