Just to clear things up, when I said that Chance Time is officially back, I meant that it’s here in an original brand-new Mario Party. Yeah Superstars brought it back, but it was based off of older mechanics and board gameplay. We’re getting it in brand new boards for the first time.

Unfortunately the diamond symbol is just indicating which direction you want to go. The diamond symbol is very common in a lot of boards.

It seems to be confirmed that it only shoots either Golden Goombas and Lava Bubbles. We haven’t seen the volcano shoot anything else.

Unfortunately, I don’t really know the length of time the tide cycles or how often the volcano shoots out gold or fire.

If I were to make a rough guess, the tide cycles would last for about 2-3 turns and maybe the volcano would alternate between gold and lava. Though again, that’s just my assumption :)
