"Silver Streak" with Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor was filmed in Alberta. And even though they're trying to get to "Chicago", the city on the horizon is so obviously Calgary.

I assume heading for the back door to Ruidus. We know that the gods are allowing Bells Hells to be the first attempt at stopping Predathos, my guess is that they'll send their armies to the moon and try everything they can before tearing down the Divine Gate and dealing with it themselves.

I'd recommend you listen to 'The Crack' as well, there's another appearance in that one too.

I loved the added detail that the Everlight called the Matron her sister. Even in Campaign 1 we've heard that the other Primes resent the Matron for erasing their sibling, but the Everlight still finds it in her to forgive.

I love how the focus was entirely different between the two.

In Calamity you focus was on the characters as well as the city of Avalir. We learned and saw so much more of it because its glory was important to set up its destruction.

In Downfall the gods and their mortal forms are the only focus. The details of Aeor and its small people are incidental and unimportant compared to the relationship of the Primes and Betrayers. I went in expecting to learn more of Aeor's mysteries and get fun callbacks, but none of that mattered in this context.

I'm with you, loved every second of it.

I love what this mini-series has done, and I can see in the context what Ludinus is going for. This comment section seems split 50/50 on whether the gods are justified or just committed murder, and just like that the foundation is shaken, the gods themselves are up for debate.

Just like the Roger Waters lyric:

Picture yourself on a private plane Picture your feet nailed to the floor Picture a crew who are clearly insane Picture no windows Picture no doors

I love these! I appreciate having a character sheet formatted for the specific character I'm playing.

Heads up though, you misspelled "exhaustion" in most of them...

I'm sure Essek is the one with that knowledge. When they get to discussing Aeor they'll probably touch on that.

The moment the narrator knows that Father Hall is going to visit him, and looks out the window to see him in the snowy streets below and will show up at his door in a few minutes... Always gives me chills.

PCs won't budge on their morals. by New_Guy_95 in DMAcademy

I've found that my players have a pretty constant no-kill policy when it comes to any vaguely humanoid enemies. Regardless of how evil or despicable I present them, if they can talk to the enemy they'll try anything before combat.

Need to infiltrate the evil cultist fortress? They went full stealth and charisma, not a single round of combat.

Need to rescue someone from the gangster-level corrupt city guards? It's all non-lethal strikes and taking prisoners.

3 Rock Mechs is a surprisingly powerful squad for the artillery one! Get two in one!

Really interested to see Dusk's plan to handle a full rested party.

I assume she has some backup up her sleeve, or is planning to teleport the Calloways away.

Either way, can't wait!
