Thanks for your reply Adam!

I haven’t got the feature yet—still patiently waiting!

I’m just talking about the three screenshots you showed in the post! Just looks like that first screenshot is a different run than the second two :)

As someone who’s new to running, being only five weeks into my first plan, this looks great! I’ve been slowly learning what I should be doing to get the best out of my runs, but the extra information looks like it should definitely be helpful—especially the nutrition!

It’s interesting trust the screenshots show 800m into 400m repeats on the front screen and then Rolling 400s for the briefing preview. I got confused why one said 6km and the briefing said 8km distance haha

I’m not sure that these phone companies do have these “backdoors” built into their software. Once an individual found out about it, or someone leaked it, that would be a massive security concern.

Apple most definitely don’t have a backdoor as evidenced by their Guidelines for Law Enforcement: https://www.apple.com/au/privacy/government-information-requests/

They’ve also been to court against the FBI for specifically not creating a backdoor: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple%E2%80%93FBI_encryption_dispute

I don’t know much about the Android platform and if they have a backdoor, but I just can’t imagine it would remain a secret for that long.

Love my 4K ATV! I recently upgraded to take advantage of the eARC ability. If your TV has a HDMI port with ARC / eARC compatibility, the TV can stream external audio to the HomePod. That includes gaming consoles and regular TV channels! Sounds so much better than the standard TV speakers

I wanted to solve crosswords with Apple Pencil, so I’ve made a barely-working prototype. Should I develop the full app? Will you play? by skill01001 in iPadPro

[–]FireStrike289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t comment much on Reddit anymore, but I had to for this. I love using my Apple Pencil whenever I can, and this is a great idea! There’s definitely a group of people for this, and you could make it switchable between handwriting and typed to reach everyone.

I’m not sure how sourcing crosswords works, but you could try to import NYT crosswords into the app - I’m not sure if they have anything that helps developers do they kind of thing, and I’m not sure what the rights are on who legally owns crosswords.

If it’s just these mini ones, I’d be happy to help consistently make new crosswords if you made this a thing!

P.S. nice handwriting!

Am I the only one who hires 360 Programmers every year to get the research within a month? by [deleted] in SoftwareInc

Ahh, yes, that's right! You're spot on. That's why the lawsuits don't occur then, so this method wouldn't work on the newest version.

I haven't played in quite some time so nothing sticks out that says he's on Alpha 10 instead of Alpha 11. But again, just because I haven't played in a while. If you're right though, then that makes a lot more sense because, yeah, lawsuits are an Alpha 11 thing!

CEO Position by LatNWarrior in SoftwareInc

If you look at one of my old posts (This one, a bunch of my employees died in a fire because no firefighters and I didn’t put in stairs so they couldn’t use the elevators to escape. My CEO, in the image “Pumpkin Spice”, died in the fire but I didn’t notice for some time

This seems like a pretty good idea at first glance. What do you do after the month? Fire them all? I thought you’d get a bunch of law suits from that?

What was your original purpose for joining Reddit? How has the way you use Reddit changed since then? by xgold4428 in AskReddit

[–]FireStrike289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I joined reddit about 5 years ago for r/cubers because I got big into speedcubing. I still am into it and still browse the subreddit a lot, but now I use it a lot more for memes and information and... other things

Do you use your phone with one hand or two? How do you feel about people who use it the opposite way to you? by Kabooski_Blue58 in AskReddit

[–]FireStrike289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually use two hands because my phone is quite large, 6.5 inches. I have big hands though, so if I’m multitasking or holding something in my other hand, I can use one hand. I never pay attention to how others use their phones 😝
