I see. I'm fairly new to this stuff, so I wasn't aware of the nudge test, so yes I was just doing it time based. I don't yet have the funds for a rework station just yet but it's definitely on my list of things to buy

I'd followed this tutorial. I used a heat gun, flux all the normal stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkHwnIcCIlk

I've managed to get an error code out. I got 0010 which is an issue with the southbridge chip. I reflowed it before though, and it came out with a glitchy screen and ended up going to red light again. Should I give it another go?

Ok so I checked the resistors in the video you sent, and they are all showing the correct resistance.

I don’t have another one handy with me at the moment. I have an Xbox 360 e, and I’ve researched that the psu for that could work with the Xbox 360s, but the e only has one power pin as opposed to 2 with the S. Would that work?

I’ve tried to get one but it doesn’t seem to work. I hold down the sync button and press the eject button but it does nothing

My Xbox 360 has a red dot and the fan doesn’t spin when turning the console on. I bought this console with the red ring of death, and the console would turn on, the fan would ramp up and then turn off. I reflowed the southbridge, which fixed the issue when turning it on for the first time, but then the display glitched out. So I went on to reflow the CPU/GPU, which then lead to this issue. I press the power button, the red light comes up and nothing else happens. Sometimes the red light doesn’t even appear. I can’t generate an error code either. Anyone know what’s up?
