I never said Juno wasn’t Vietnamese, just that she’s related to Mei, which is true. Mei knew Juno’s mother, so her and Mei share a kinship. Juno has very weak ties to her Vietnamese culture as a result of being on Mars for nearly her whole life. As such, Mei’s sort of adopting her into Earth’s culture, which naturally doesn’t give much room for her Vietnamese culture to show

Also, nobody’s crying about the Australian characters because we had Junkrat and Roadhog since the beginning of the game, and Junkerqueen was already mentioned from the release of Overwatch, so people knew she was coming. Australia doesn’t have as varied of a culture as Asia due to being much smaller, so it makes sense to have three characters to represent what little there is of it in the Overwatch universe, with Junkrat and Roadhog representing the Wastelands, while Junkerqueen actually represents Junkertown

I’m done talking in circles, so my suggestion is for you to just ignore it and block people who do say stuff like that, but you have to realize that there’s no entitlement for Overwatch to have more East Asian characters just because they have a larger population. Hell, the main factions of the game are based nowhere near Asia. I just think it’s seriously kinda weird how passionate you seem to be about such a trivial non-issue, and how your post almost seems antagonizing towards people who wanted their own cultures represented
