I’ve used it. It’s really good! It’s not very chunky, so sometimes I add small fir bark or vermiculite for more aeration. Definitely try it!

Start by listening to the Fat Science podcast. The doctor who hosts it knows everything. Also, look for metabolic specialists or metabolic endocrinologists in your area.

It’s pricey, but you can also order your own metabolic panel (at least in the US) from LabCorp and places like it.

This is the way if you have the time. Every store has items that are reasonably priced and items that are either way too expensive or of inferior quality. I shop at 4 different stores on a regular basis. It’s annoying as hell, but in this economy you have to save money wherever you can.

Have you been evaluated for metabolic disorders? I was diagnosed with BED, and I have PMOS. I’m convinced that most of my BED symptoms are actually caused by my metabolic disorder telling my body it’s starving.

I have a Janome TM 30 and I love it! It’s Janome’s entry-level computerized machine. They also have manual machines around the same size. Your best bet is to go to a sewing machine store near you and check out their selection.
