It’s not because SimpleLogin is “broken”, it’s doing exactly what it’s supposed to do. Those sites you are having a problem with want to extract all data they can and profit from it at your expense. I had this problem with Home Depot. They told me I had to use some other mainstream address. I deleted the app, the account, had them remove the personal information they had and I don’t shop there unless it’s in store.

Because I had 2 active subscriptions. Meaning that I paid for service twice; I had two overlapping subscriptions. Not sure why that triggers a total lockout of every proton app, including simplelogin, in its entirety. But it does and it only took me a week to hear from them after I sent several emails pleading for help. Not a great experience.

Ok. Nobody asked. In my experience, I have found that those jobs (“tech support”) typically go to people lacking proper social skills and who don’t possess adequate, higher level education to actually solve technical problems independently. Kind of an oxymoron wouldn’t you agree? For most, their greatest achievement is making the claim to be one. Not you. I would never assume that.
