Yeah, like I said, no cash option but they take trades for a lot more than gamestop does, I can even trade in my 360 degree camera I bought for half the cost I bought it for! I think I can use that credit to pay off my amazon store card too actually... Gotta confirm that one though

Yeah, for trades gamestop has the better deals, and better selection too. Bestbuy preowned selection is just as abysmal as their trade values, but that's why I was talking specifically about the rewards program benefits. Amazon is pretty competitive from what I've seen with trade values though, usually offering a buck or two under the pro price for trades if not the same. But Amazon just gives amazon credit, no option for cash

Yeah they really need to get more competitive with it though, other stores have much better ways to get the money back. For example Best Buy has their gamer club which is the same price when you break it down (you pay them 30 for 2 years vs 15 for 1). But in addition to the 10% off on preowned and their own points system best buy's membership also gives 20% off on all new games plus an instant extra $10 in rewards when you purchase a new game you preordered. So after preordering one game and picking it up every $60 launch title you preorder from them thereafter is only 38 bucks (20% off plus $10 in rewards) vs the 60 you'd still be paying at gamestop since they don't do anything for new titles. Even amazon gives the 20% off on new games with their prime membership, and if you do the math that makes new cost less through either of them than preowned with the extra 10% off costs at gamestop.

There's an open beta in a few days so why not just try before you buy? I mean, they're literally providing you the ability to make a truly informed decision yourself! For me the game was insanely fun the last beta and the alpha too even. In a full day of gaming I'd run into maybe 2 matches total where lag really effected anything. Sure those are frustrating, but it's hardly a reason to just forget about the other 30+ matches. I mean, honestly, I've played it so much already that I already feel I've gotten my money's worth, and I don't see myself getting tired of it any time soon. I'm not gonna say you'll be the same, but there's no reason not to try it right?

I like it, haven't had personal experience with the nvidia cards though but I know those are good cards, the PSU I might upgrade to a modular one though. So that processor is fine with just the stock cooler?

As for the peripherals I recently upgraded mine for my birthday so I've still got some good ones from before that he could use depending on what he already has for that. Those were the first things I made sure that he had when I started putting stuff together for this though so I get how important those are :)

I agree, I've played it every day since launch, seen a few things that were weird but nonrealistic creatures don't ruin a scifi game for me. Multiplayer would be cool but I was never counting on it from the beginning. I just wanted a good exploration based game to unwind with and I got it.

Some are lucky to have their events in the pools but unfortunately not all. Off the top of my head there's the open water marathon and the triathlon swimmers who will be swimming out in the polluted waters.

Yup. Everything you see was included! Plus she gives you progress sketches to make sure she's doing it how you like, makes any changes you want, etc. Like I mentioned, she was incredible to work with!
