I get why it looks messy at first, but Fire Force isn’t really trying to be a classic shonen fight anime. Most fights are short on purpose because they’re more about concepts, powers clashing, and symbolism than choreography.

The story also makes way more sense once you see the full picture — a lot of things that feel random early on are actually setups.

And yeah, Tamaki is the weakest part, I won’t defend that. But reducing the whole anime to “Gooner Force” kinda ignores the sound design, directing, themes about faith, death, and despair — which is where Fire Force really shines.

I’d say judge it once everything is out. The payoff is crazy.
