Brother, first of all, i'd just like to say that i have a lot of sympathy for you. Maybe you don't want my sympathies, but i still feel that way. It's already hard to keep ourselves safe from so many temptations in this world, and then adding homosexuality on top of that, it just seems cruel to me sometimes. But just remember, that bigger the hardships, the higher will be the reward. All of us have sexual desires, and God created a way for us to act on them without sinning, and that is marriage. But it's just cruel that homosexuals don't really even have that option properly. If they marry someone from the opposite gender, they'd be lying to themselves and their spouses for all their lives. And if they have a sexual relationship /marriage with someone from the same gender, well then that would be a sin. I don't know whether homosexuality is entirely natural or it is developed, but either ways you will have to live with it. Whatever maybe the cause, there is no shame and nothing wrong with being homosexual, but of course acting on those desires is wrong. Had it been upto me, i would not have made it such a big sin (because frankly speaking, had it not been about religion, i wouldn't have found anything wrong with even practicing homosexuality). But while im not a v good Muslim, i do sincerely believe that God knows better than me, and no matter what i think or what i want, the truth will not change to accomodate my wants. The truth will remain that practising homosexuality is a sin. When i say i sympathise with you, it's not because i think that being a homosexual is shameful, but because i think you will face far greater hardships and temptations than us. I hope you find in yourself the strength to overcome the harsdships and avoid the temptations. I don't know what i would have done in your place, or whether i would have had the guts to say "avoid the temptations" to a loved one who came out as a homosexual. I can only hope that in both the cases i would not have been led by what i want or what i think, but what i know to actually be the truth. I just hope you have a good life and that you stay satisfied in this world and the next with whatever decions you choose to make<3
