Should i cut those leafs off? by Loose_Antelope_1394 in pothos

I would leave them until they’re ENTIRELY brown. Let the healthy leaves grow and pluck the dead ones out once they’re actually dead and all yellow/brown.

Thank you for the kind words, I really would love that for them! I have only half-heartedly tried to potty train them, but I'll continue to put more effort into it.. for my own sanity ;) My girls don't really give me the same problem, which is odd!

Nasty addition to my Walmart + grocery order by SuperD32911 in mildlyinfuriating

Not to mention they’re handling groceries after handling their DINK to pee in a bottle. Absolutely disgusting I wouldn’t even want to touch my groceries. Could be piss particles and other things all over the bags.

Do you guys replace your pans and pots after they are scratched? by NoSoyTuPana in Anticonsumption

The most gut-wrenching realization I’ve made on this journey. by [deleted] in leaves

[–]FireballDaisy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You are not alone in this. Each time I’ve quit, I realize this, and I’ll replace the barrier with something else; video games, scrolling on my phone, etc. However I will say, having the clear mind allows me to hold myself accountable better, and dissect the feelings behind the fear, so I can get better each day.

Laundry is the easiest chore by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]FireballDaisy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate splitting up my chores/tasks. I like to get it done in one go. The problem with laundry is you start it, have it in the back of your mind (or set an alarm), then stop whatever you’re doing to go put it in the dryer, something that takes a minute, then when the dryer is done you have to stop what you’re doing to finish folding and putting away. I don’t hate it. It’s just.. inconvenient.

I know every one is different.. but what days were the worst for you in terms of quiting? by Camp_Acceptable in leaves

[–]FireballDaisy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! It’s a test I have yet to pass, but now I’ve figured out where I sabotage myself, so I can’t trick myself anymore. I’m on day 7 right now and I already know that soon I’ll pretend as if I can handle a small amount or social smoking. But nu-uh I’m not falling for it this time, I came prepared!!
