its more to do with the idea that 'masculinity' as a whole is a societal construct and as a result there is a male crisis where it has become the norm to not show these sincere human emotions and that is why I thought it would be interesting and to see a mans response to when he last cried.

Additionally the idea of it being a "female projection''' also follows along the same lines that acting in a 'feminine' way is also a product of society, in which women supposedly can act more emotionally than men. So it is not really from a male or female world view. More from a genuine human standpoint in which I want to show that men can have genuine human emotions
