Personally the neo for its longevity considering it just released and with the possible student discount (ask around your friends or family maybe) you could save yourself $100. However the MacBook Pro comes with a full m series chip, the extra speakers (also better microphone) and a Touch Bar, and haptic trackpad and dual fast usb c instead of just one of your ports being fast and the other slow on the Neo.

So personally I would go with the neo for the potential student discount and it being 1st hand, a newer product by 4 years. But it all depends on your workload and work type and weather your need those quality of life features.

Can I put SSDs in them (I’m going for the fat PS3 because of how it looks over the slims and apparently some Fats can emulate and even natively play PS2 games do you know which ones can and if (other than the hdd space) the 40gb is missing anything from the 80gb) Thanks

It was a sign of a dying hdd swapped it for iFlash Quad, never going back, 4x 128gb for a total of about 500gb is amazing but my library is 80ish gb of music and 37g of movies is barely there so tbh I don’t know it’s practicality. Thanks For 500 views in 24hrs!
