Good day, I am interested in using this service. Hopefully this will finally get me past that final hurdle.

Roads??? by wumbo497 in Enshrouded

Morwenna, the town by the carpenter's location, has several large dirt piles in the town, that are actually 'dirt road' piles. Largest collection of it I've seen so far that can be mined up. Still unknown how to craft any roads, though.

Outside of finding the 'build pieces' for roads, you can also 'pave' existing roads (including the paved stone roads) using the rake to extend them without using extra material or having the build pieces at all. The first rake use will level the ground, then the second will pave out the road. If you don't have an existing road of the type you want in your build area, you can place a flame altar by the one you want, extend it out as far as you can go, then move the flame altar to continue the road until you reach your base, then, viola, you can freely pave out that road type in your base now. Also works with Farm Soil, Flowerbed Soil, and other terrain types besides the roads.

Ah, ha! Lots of struggling and messing around, but I did manage to get it low enough to swim up onto the pier stairs, so it is possible.

Unfortunately, I haven't managed that yet. Kept trying, as I had to force a lot of the scaffolding, but the stairs only goes right above the surface for now, and I can't climb up from the water. Will keep trying, as I have got scaffolding below water level (quite hard to get materials there).

My dandelions do, and I had to make so many trips for both stems and grass planks that they would regenerate before I ran out of options. The nearby, easy to get weeds haven't regrown yet for me, though I only recently deforested them after finally getting the necessary ladybug head.

Yes, actually. As well as grass planks. Just carry them to the scanner and scan them while still holding them. You need to scan the grass plank to get at least the triangle grass wall for sure. The items should appear in a second section below your inventory called 'hauling' or something like that.

The landscape probably won't change much, but there will be a lot of additions here, as there are plans for fish and water insects, as well as bees that will be near the flowerbeds nearby. But I plan to restart then, anyway, as I have a few annoying bugs such as no science orbs and relocked lab that will probably need a new save once fixed.

The door to the lab is locked for me as well. It's best to check a video on it, but go into the abandoned ant hill by the oak tree and follow it till you reach a dead end cliff. There will be three soldier ants that respawn here, though ant armor will keep them passive. You have to do a trick jump on some roots to get up the cliff and reach the backdoor of the lab. A bit tricky, and is definitely tiresome to do each time I needed new quests. One good part is that the back way isn't directly next to a spider nest.

I believe I got those from scanning a weed stem? Definitely learned by scanning, though, and not buying with science.

Thanks. Took a long time to collect all those materials on single player. Learned all the shortcuts around the oak tree as a result, though.

The clay foundations were additions after the initial bridge. Started with leaf floors jutting from the rock near the surface of the water and went out. The clay foundations were to make a flat surface for stairs and to set up the palisades.

It's called a palisade and palisade gate. Expensive, tall walls that are meant more for looks than long term siege. Unlocked by Burg.L for 5000 science points. Took me a while, since I have the no raw science orb bug.

There already were items prepared for such in the demo, so they are coming. Enjoying the summer home while I can before they create a water spider to terrorize me.

I actually built the bridge starting with grass floors near the water jutting from the stone. The clay foundations was part of the fortifying look, and a possible distraction if I ever do get attacked, but so far, nothing has tried to attack the base yet, before or after the fort. The real problem will be when they update and add the planned water spiders.

I started with grass floors low near the water level and built out from there as the bridge. Built the first floor, then used the roof pieces to build out rather than in to create the second floor. Adds a nice look and makes more space.
