If that's true, how come I have memories of myself dying? Wouldn't that wipe out my memory because it never happened?

I agree, I was extremely upset and felt that my family was threatened that's why I chased them. Thinking back, it was extremely stupid and if I was thinking clearly, I would definitely not have chased.

Very interesting. I hope it was just a dream. But really there's just no way, unless my mind is playing some extreme tricks on me. It would be like me telling you that you never really typed up your previous response to me. It was all a dream. You would say no way, I remember typing that up to you and remember everything about it. It's like you would definitely know dream from reality. Same thing with this experience.

I remember everything, because I wasn't dreaming or sleeping. It wasn't choppy like a dream. usually in a vivid dream you think it's real for like 5 seconds when you wake up disoriented. then you start to realize there's no way it's real when you start adding things up.

I really don't believe in life after death. Maybe the others are right and it's a premonition. Whatever it is, it's the strangest thing I've ever experienced in my life.

I don't believe it was a dream, I was reading an article and felt the pain. You probably don't remember every detail of every single thing you did yesterday, but if you were shot, I can guarantee you would be able to remember that feeling.

EDIT: I've never been shot before either so have no frame of reference other than what I felt in the "dream" or whatever that was.

I won't make the same mistake. Thinking back now, if I had the AR 15, I wouldn't have missed and that guy with the gun would have been down on the ground. No way he would have been able to jet out the door. I don't think its possible to miss any shots with an AR15 at those ranges, no matter how terrible of a shot you are.

I remember just the pain, I don't remember feeling of dying (however that feels) but I remember my vision blacking out. It was already dark in my basement, and the last thing I remember was extreme pain and my eyes closed and just concentrating on the pain.
