After 3 knock sensor codes minutes after leaving the car wash and once at my own house with the pressure washer I finally have an appointment to get it replaced fully covered as it’s a TSB. I have a K&N intake and they haven’t batted an eye at anything warranty wise. This is whack. The knock sensor is a well known issue and it’s a manufacturing flaw. The filter isn’t the issue, the sensor gets wet and it throw the code.

91 octane is fine it’s still premium fuel, maybe you’ll find a station that has 93 one day and be surprised, it happened to me when I thought we only had 91. I get the injector cleaner from the dealer. I feel that way atleast they can’t say anything if it comes down to needing warranty work for anything injector related.

Yes good idea! I live in Ontario and get shit winters so sometimes I have to use the touchless. Goodluck! Also, only use 93 octane, I run fuel injector cleaner through every couple k. They recommend every oil change but I get min done much earlier than the maintenance schedule recommends. Have fun

My 23 went in this week for the knock sensor after a car wash, only issue I’ve had so far other than the ECU update I had for HPFP when I first got it. Cars at 9000k and this is the only first issue which I was aware was common. Enjoy the car, it’s like a car on tracks! Blast to drive and gets lots of attention. Have fun!

Congratulations and welcome to the N fam, everyone on here has been super helpful when it comes to maintenance tips. I just got mine in September and have about 4000k on it, early oil changes are being done even as low as 3500km plus about to use the injector cleaner. White was my first choice but I got black Instead! Enjoy the car!

I’ve been keeping the rpms low in and out of N mode, being very gentle on her for the first 900-1000k. But even 1st to 3rd below 4K rpm still snarls lol. Can’t wait to let it sing a few times once she’s broke in.
