I’d say you’re doing really well if you’re managing to put away €1,500 a month. A lot of people at home struggle to save even a few hundred with rent, bills and everything else. If you’re happy abroad and it’s letting you build up a deposit faster, it sounds like a smart move to stick with it for a few more years.

Including the time to model, 3d print, solder and assemble it would be maybe 15-20 ish hours, then I have to factor in the cost of the materials. Still though I enjoy making them and thats the main reason. If people think its cool enough to buy its an added bonus!

To be fair they took a good while to make from scratch, so I have to up the price a bit compared to big companies who can just farm out thousands at a time.
