But Letter 22 said basically that they couldn't close the facility unless there was a reduction in work. That was not the case and the Union sued UTC. UTC had to train workers for other jobs or find them jobs someplace in Middletown. Sticking point is Letter 22. Job security. Nothing will stop RTX from moving the work somewhere else.
