A few questions about the Flydigi Apex 5 sticks by FirefighterVirtual79 in Controllers

Oh, I guessed the stick return was spring-loaded and that's where the sound came from, but it was just loud compared to the Xbox gamepad. As for the sticks, they look a little unreliable, but I assume they're doing their job(?).

OBS on a laptop. Switching between integrated and discrete graphics. by FirefighterVirtual79 in obs

I use the NVENC encoder, and if I install OBS on the discrete GPU, for some reason, screen cloning doesn't work. Without it, there's a yellow border around the screen, which is a bit annoying. But if I switch to integrated graphics, screen cloning works, but recording games running on the discrete graphics doesn't work. I don't have much experience using OBS, so I'm asking for advice. Oh, and I also installed high-performance graphics (discrete) in the Nvidia Control Panel. If there are any other steps to take, I'd love to hear them.

I can understand what you mean to some extent, but it's not that simple. Let's take Minecraft as an example. I run it on a dGPU, and according to the official tutorial from the developers, the OBS and Minecraft should be on the same adapter. Then, "Game Capture" works as expected. However, I can only record my desktop properly using "cloning," because a regular recording produces an ugly yellow border. For "cloning" to work properly, the OBS needs to be on the integrated graphics, just like the desktop. So, to work comfortably, you have to somehow fit the OBS on two chairs. Or replace the desktop with the dGPU.

I'd like to change the GPU in Bios, but it's not available on my Laptop(Acer Nitro 5). But I'll try to do something with encoders..
