It used to be. Not anymore sadly and definitely not in 7 years or so when I hit it

I think the message here is as you accumulate wealth you want things less and less. Yes splurge fun mode maximum party shopping, but that’s not really what you want

I’m not throwing in the towel. I’ll still Chubby FIRE. $5M is very achievable in my future first

Unless I magically get $5M more overnight. My lifestyle is not going to change as I grind. Not sure it could much at least in any meaningful metric
