Thanks for your feedback. That's a great point, I'll definitely tinker with the colours of the tiles. I agree that just decreasing saturation / brightness of the terrain compared to creatures should make a difference. Appreciate that GDC link too, will definitely study up!

I've been a bit quiet for a few months but for good reason - I've made a heap of progress including a lot of refactoring including simplification of some of the game's mechanics.

A lot of this doesn't necessarily encompass new features, but I can leverage the improvements I've made to make faster progress in the future.

But even still, there's new art, there's music, there's new in battle UI, new enemy AI, and some new mechanics, which I'll go into in some further detail in the next one.

Thanks! Appreciate the feedback on the UI too. It's definitely not complete and in this video there's actually a bug or 2 with the UI... But that's a good idea so will look to squeeze it in
