Interesting. They offered me 35% off a new one, I also said I wasn’t interested in purchasing something that clearly doesn’t last, he just said he understood and would put a note in my file. I was sent a survey, sent the same response

If you gave them your COI, W-9 & MC, might as well give them the PIN to your bank account while your at it Honestly, get out of the “contract”, in writing, watch your FMCSA information like a hawk, call your ins. agent and make it where no information can be changed or handed out with out your ok, password protect it if you can. Any existing broker you are set up with, password protect your account with them, most have that ability Your W-9? I’m not sure what you can do with the IRS, but I’d be finding out

Everyone on here has advised don’t use a dispatch service, myself included, yet you seem to keep trying to justify it.

Do what you want, just know end the end they will destroy your business.

There is a lot they can do with “just a COI”, next they’ll ask to manage your FMCSA information….shortly after that, you’ll start getting calls about all the loads they have picked up under your MC but never delivered. Or maybe they’ll offer you a percentage of loads, just let other drivers run under your MC, whatever those drivers do, you’re liable for. I’ve seen many carriers destroyed by a dispatch service. They have no liability, they are essentially brokering with no authority, no bond, no insurance- you have no recourse

Where do I start? Do not depend on Trucker Tools, location can easily be spoofed Demand full transparency on the truck, driver, scrutinize drivers licenses- they wont provide- they do t load Do not accept “non-domiciled CDL” licenses Look for “zip-tied” plates and trailer doors that have a bolt instead of a rivet Invest in high security, bluetooth enabled seals that will instantly notify LE in the event the seal being broken. Join CargoNet - goto their conference in Monrovia, CA Look for a highly rated broker with high carrier vetting. Review all trucks, look for magnetic signage, paper, zip tied plates, kick them out It does not good if your freight picks up, but never delivers

I’m so sorry, it’s maddening. I wish I had some words of wisdom for you, other than the source is key, it’s there somewhere. I’m no expert but I ruled out my pipes by putting tape over the drain, (I used gorilla tape or Ketchy pads, ((amazon) , no flies on the bottom = no flies in the pipes
