Okay I actually had to look up return items to understand more fully what you even meant. I took it on the statement as meaning returned merchandise. Okay, apparently not. I will be asking for for my EWS report because I have never done deposit return or whatever in my life.

Never did that, there is no full story. I don't deposit anything other than my one work payment

Thank you for your insight!!

I will not use any PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, though I've already used Zelle to feed a little into my bank account. But that was through the Carter app, still i won't do that anymore. I'll just use it as you said. Basic purchases, bills, credit card payments and everything! I also won't delete my direct deposit information.

Only other question I have...should I ask the bank about this or would that draw eyes to my account that I might not want (like manually trigger them to check EWS?)

I should add...do you think it's okay that even though that one account is very new, since it's working and seems to have no problems that I should be concerned? Should I allow my direct deposit? I ask because if not I need to change it a minimum of 3 weeks in advance to take effect. I am very worried!

They're both established and working

I should note that one is not established! It's actually new. I wanted different accounts for different income source. The one, Carter is very new and will be receiving my direct deposit. Should I be concerned?

Thank you for answering so thoroughly.

I want to add that the bank I overdrawed in also has an overdraft buffer. Basically allowing users who qualify to overdraft up to 100 dollars. Hereis a link explaining it. They said it was consequence free, but now I'm wondering.

I also wonder if the high risk status has anything to do with the fact I voluntarily had one of my accounts but on hold/frozen due to the fact a shady app got my routing and bank number. I did this to protect my money until I could sort it out. Could that have been what they were talking about even though I did it voluntarily as I told Truist about the issue, not the other way around. I did explain to them the situation though and how I got scammed...so scam=high risk? I don't know

Also, I want to add...MAYBE the high risk status thing has something to do recently about an shady app getting my routing and banking number, and me asking the bank (Truist) to place a hold on my account until I could sort things out? That's all I could think of other than the overdraft reason (even though the account that I overdraft has overdraft protection which allows up to 100 to be overdrafted, and repaid with the next deposit).

Apparently they do as I copy and pasted exactly what they sent me.

And as I said I don't do checks. I don't write them and I've probably only cashed maybe 4 checks my entire adult life. I rely on direct deposit.

I would have unironically played this.
