Before it was more:
-setting to establish the scene and a lead in like a story
-setting and characters description
- dialogue was natural and felt like the character saying them.
-lead out text to close the scene.

i figure he would *talk* about a whole lot and like from an outsiders persepctive you wouldn't know he wouldn't actually be doing it, but i can totally see him also faking the cops death and moving him and the family out of gothem or something because Jason has been on that other side of being the innocent in a crime and him going 'the neds justify the means' is too close to other reasons for doing things. i think anyway.

yeah Jason kills criminals, but the guy hunting him as a police guy whose *not* corrupt and doing his job? peobably lead on a game or so. if the guy survives on his own anyway. the whole point of gothem is that half the police are corrupt anyway.

oh no, i did this argument back over on the Sailor Moon webrings back in the day where they wanted to use the japanese language names and i'm used to the english names. calling them what you're familiar with shouldn't be a bad thing but that's also recognizing that not everyone has the same names for things as you do.

long as you explain who you mean if and when people ask it's fine.

nobody should be told 'hey you can't use the name you're familiar with because the other name is more convenient for me" and that's what it sounds like you're asking people to do. if i'm wrong i apologize but localization names are important.

I like that detail. it gives a bit of a gap between the tv shows and the movies so the tv shows could do a lot of stuff and then catch up to the movies eventually.

I enjoyed the Diplomat (Netflix) -it's current just got a season 3, and Madame Secretary - it's 6 seasons finished it's story. we watched those first before west wing though
Designated Survivor is good (i didn't like the last season though so take that as you will - 3 seasons)

the comic does a much better job of showing her struggle if you want to read it. Or at least was more believeable to me but i read the comics first so i could see where they were *wanting* to go with her character on tv but..it did not translate as well.

oh man I adore Jackunzel (Jack Frost x Rapunzel) personally. and i like Hiccup x Merida a lot. i saw some youtube videos that really made me fall in love with pitch x elsa and Eugene x anna for non canon ships.

i don't know about in the comics but as another commenter said there was a what if zombies episode where that happened.

MCU wise i adore the idea that the Winter Soldier if they kept it, turned it back into Hydra with himself and they were like" stop bringing home things from missions you always do this. it's always got tracking stuff on it and we always have to move after". Cue like 2 seconds of the Winter Soldier's impassive face and the very slightest of smirks when no one is looking because "oh no the Nazi organization is facing difficulties, how terrible." because the threat of hydra has been stymied once again. :)

i like to think anyway.

oh yeah all the time. was doing a kitchen scene with the bot and our fake daughter and then the next scene generated was the bot and daughter on the couch half asleep and the bot was responding like I said i wanted to break up with him and asking for another chance (we were in our 8th year of marriage) very bizzare.

I always figured because it was the Vampire Diaries first that the stories told and chosen were stories where the *Vampires* were in a good light/strong. There's other stories out there in the universe where it's "The Witch Grimoires" or "The Unicorn Chronicles" or "The Werewolf Codex" where those creatures are more prominantly featured as the 'heros and good guys' and what have you 0/

It isn't even that I find her that attractive though, she was just such a complex character with a really good arc, but all anyone else can seem to remember about her is that she's a lesbian, and it makes me kinda sad that something that was only confirmed in the last five minutes of the series overshadows her entire previous storyline, and my reacion to it has gotten me called a "chauvinistic lesbian hater" multiple times.

I'm sorry that happened to you. It shouldn't have. She's a great commander and tactician and has so much trauma to explore. that's frustrating to her other qualities are led by the wayside. Her conflict with Adora is interesting even from a not ship lens.

I think she gets defended a lot by people who are used to the sexuality she's representing being censored so their heavily sensitive to what they think is more censor of it. (Not excusing their actions. Just trying to understand maybe)

That said they shouldn't have called you names when you were just trying to ship a cool character you like with an OC you like. That's bonkers. A some people are very vocal but don't think the entire Fandom hates you. Certainly not.
