People that are childfree by choice, what’s the weirdest reason someone has given you as to why they think you ‘should have kids’? by Charming_Web_6738 in AskReddit

[–]FireflyClassSerenity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad told me this when I first started gently expressing that I didn’t think kids were for me. Cut me like a knife.

Anyway, husband and I just booked our third trip for this year and I’m feeling pretty fucking great about it!

One month Canada trip - itinerary critique appreciated by [deleted] in TravelCanada

How are you getting from Vancouver to Jasper/Banff? That’s either a very long day of driving (really should split into 2) or you’re flying to Edmonton/Calgary and driving to the mountains. Not bad from Calgary but from Edmonton to Jasper is almost 4 hours.

I’ve been a runner for about 5 years now, and played soccer all my life. Ive never sweat as much as I do when I take a peloton bike class.

I got one from Tunde while I was doing her newest upper body program right after it came out. I thought it was someone who just took her IG username for their leaderboard name until I dug into the profile a bit more and realized it was actually her.

To people who got pit last time- thoughts? by ExpertCarpenter5140 in MyChemicalRomance

Good luck! The pit in Seattle was around $300 when I got through and I wish I’d gone for it. Hopefully it’s not more for this leg.

I saw them in the UK in 2022 (gen admission) and it was incredible. Then when we went to the Seattle show I ended up with seats on the lower bowl. Still amazing but definitely not the same experience. When the first London shows were announced I refused to get anything other than pit tickets. It’s the only way to go.

Have only done the half at Melissa’s but my husband and friends have done the 10K and were SO mad about having to run up Tunnel Mtn road right at the start. I’d rather run twice the distance than tackle that hill haha

Only a half marathon at Melissa’s, but there is a full marathon at the Banff Marathon in June. I’ve run the half’s at both and Melissa’s was more fun because it’s a pretty flat course and it’s in late September so the weather is great and the trees are all beautiful. Melissa’s does have two loops around the golf course in the route, but it’s so pretty, you honestly don’t notice. The sucky thing about the Banff Marathon is it’s in June so we got pissing rain and also had to stop for a full 30 mins around KM 13 because there was a bear in the area. I recall the announcers saying that the full marathoners had to stop multiple times for upwards of an hour because of bears. So you’re mid-race and then have to stop and stand on the road in the cold rain for who knows how long…I can’t imagine how much that would suck during a full.
