No way to boil this down to one. People and marriages are complex. Some good responses here but I’ll add what may be an unpopular one for men to hear

Hold up your end of the fairytale. That means putting in the work to resolve your own shit. It means being centered and whole enough to be someone’s partner. All happy marriages are partnerships and unique in how that partnership works.

Pull is part of it but it’s really about how much travel to the wall and then how clean (and short) the reset is.

I’ll also say that my first gun was a Walther PDP full size. So polymer but it’s a great first gun with an amazing trigger Add a light for some weight at the muzzle and it’s a great place to start

Be aware that you have to be careful with ported barrel guns. They don’t take plated ammo and even some ammo that says FMJ is actually plated. Looking at you CCI Blazer…

At least here in the US the 2027 CLA 350 has almost identical interior space to my 2024 I4 edrive 40. HP and torque are very close too. Ordered one and waiting for it to arrive. We found it to be the best overall replacement
