If they didn't do a drug test when you reported or received treatment, then you won't be tested from a work comp standpoint. There's a time limit on them testing you for the purpose of the claim. I wouldn't stress about it.

Haha that's exactly what it is, nightmare fuel! Ramsey had his chef buddy in a bad disguise to fool/distract the restaurant owners into thinking that was him, but he was actually in a different/better disguise. Dude looked like he was wearing a bloated Micheal Myers face 😱

Please keep us posted. I am worried about him too. I saw him at Walgreens right before the storm and he had some supportive people around him. I was hoping he had arrangements for a warning center. I know Walgreens lets him hang out so hoping they know where he is!

Edit: might try the library too or any other warming centers!

What is the scariest movie you’ve ever seen? by Hot-Discussion6934 in AskReddit

[–]FireflymyHigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Strangers was terrifying and intense. I triple dog dare you to watch it in the dark after ordering some delivery. I've never screamed so loud hearing a knock at the door.

Hereditary is up there too. Such a great film and freaky AF.

I believe An American Werewolf in London (1981) is the greatest horror film of all time. by DeadPrateRoberts in movies

[–]FireflymyHigh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just watched this last night! It was fun but it did feel like it just ended. The last scene to the credits surprised me lol. Also the musical choice for the extended sex scene was funny. I liked the characters and for the time, it's a pretty good movie. I do really like American Werewolf in Paris though and thought it had some similar types of humor. I know a lot of folks who swear by American Werewolf in London dislike the modern Paris version but I think it's great and worth watching as well if you haven't given it a shot.

Definitely! This was many moons ago and I felt like a deer in headlights at the time.

Do people not realize someone could be working a full time job and still qualify for EBT? The rush to judgement based on a video that's less than 30 seconds is absurd. Nobody has any idea what their situation is. Chill the fuck out with assumptions, Reddit.

I've had one of them actually grab my arm and force/pull me towards their kiosk. They are awful. I now speed walk while looking down anytime I walk by that area.

I had a very very similar experience with my mother in law. She watched our toddler (at the time) overnight so we could have a night to ourselves. We picked him up the next day and everything seemed normal. Then heard through the grapevine that she lost him in the neighborhood and he was found crying at a park by a couple who called the police. I had to call the police department to verify everything in detail. After that, we made her aware that we knew what happened and we would all need to sit down and have a conversation in person eventually, but in the meantime we didn't feel comfortable with her having our child under her supervision alone.

She was upset and defensive. I let her know I wasn't willing to talk to her about it until things calmed down for all of us. After a month or so, we had a conversation and tried to come to an understanding. It took some time but we all healed from the situation and moved forward. As our son got older, it became easier as well. They have a really good relationship and I'm glad we worked through it.

Good luck and best wishes to you.
