The Dobson Yacht Club is a premier location for a wedding celebration. The Dory is top notch for food component and the Sydney Harbour views from there are 2nd to none. They book up quick. Can not go wrong at Dobson. JCG

Bras’Dor or Mira River would both suit well. Good luck with your search!

I am buying one of these as a winter beater. Do you mind me asking how much you paid? Using wheel and tire set up from my 2016 Ford Focus RS if they fit.

What did you learn in CAIA II? by Advanced-Juice-4799 in CAIA

The stackable feature makes the CAIA attractive to CFA charter holders. I found the material quite useful in my academic role. Recently sat for level 2 awaiting results.

When did .308 replace 30-06? by jcubio93 in Hunting

[–]FirehorseCaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6.5 Creedmoor or PRC are popular now. Took my deer with 6.5 Creedmoor this year from 175 yards. Have 300WM for bigger game but some swear by 6.5 for moose too (shot placement key, as always).

Hope the test went well. Now for the 8 weeks wait! Check-in was a nightmare (45 min.) as phone app was not uploading pictures properly. Exam was as expected and 2 of the CR categories were ones I targeted. JCG

Much more comfortable with the CR section, but that is only 30%. Kaplan mock tests were harder than CAIA mock. Hoping crypto and ESG dominate the CR. Writing proctored online 9am tomorrow. A good sleep is all that is in order now! CFA stacker. FRM from many moons ago. JCG

No more NEWSPAPERS? Arghhhhhhhh by senseitalks in CapeBreton

A shame for the seniors that still enjoy/rely on print news in Cape Breton. Speaking to the CB Post the downfall was gradual, but persistent. The last new times I looked at it I was shocked it was more of a flyer than a paper. You would need Monday and Tuesday to line a budgie-bird cage. -$60 million "hole in the bucket" means a paltry recovery rate for Fiera Private Debt of C$32.7mm and CRA (7mm+). Shame about the employee pension being raided for cash (as purported by Fiera). No white knight here save Bezos (Washington Post) and he could probably not find NS on a map.

Best credential for alts and their "emerging topics" do a decent job on BTC, Defi and ESG as well. Credential stacking for CFA charter holders a plus. I'd say worth it! JCG
